Brabham Heritage Display confirmed for Adelaide Motorsport Festival.
Adelaide Motorsport Festival Director Tim Possingham has confirmed that “This will be the first time within Australasia that the Brabham BT62 will be seen on track, at speed in public”.
“Rest assured that this car is nothing short of mind blowingly fast and will provide some spectacular demonstration runs on December 1st and 2nd”.
The Adelaide Motorsport Festival also announces the Brabham Heritage Display which will be seen both on and off the track at Victoria Park. Planned to include cars such as a T51 Cooper Driven by Jack Brabham, Brabham BT17 Sports car and Ex David Brabham BT58 Formula One Car amongst others, the display demonstrates the depth of heritage within the Brabham Brand and relives some of the sights and sounds of Brabham’s golden years when it achieved two constructors championships and four drivers world championships.
Ex F1 Driver and LeMans winner David Brabham is confirmed to attend the Adelaide Motorsport Festival and take to the Adelaide Parklands Circuit once again nearly 24 years on from his last F1 race which was in Adelaide in 1994.
“What better place to see such iconic Brabham cars on track alongside Brabham’s latest evolution, the BT62. It will be a powerful display for the state and the event, given we are now home to Brabham Automotive’s manufacturing facility.” States Event Director Tim Possingham
